McDonald's Nutrition Nuggets
Whole, Fresh Eggs: The largest purchaser of eggs in the quick service restaurant industry, McDonald’s will only procure eggs from suppliers that support the company’s Global Animal Welfare Guiding Principles, as well as McDonald’s standards on quality and freshness.
Low Fat Yogurt: McDonald’s works with the top dairy suppliers in the industry, such as Dannon® and General Mills®, to supply the low fat vanilla yogurt found in the Fruit ‘n Yogurt Parfait. Our yogurt uses only Grade A low fat milk, plus live active yogurt cultures.
Premium Salads: Our produce in our Premium Salads is fresh. We use regional suppliers to ensure quality taste is delivered to you in every Premium Salad and sandwich. Because quality produce begins in the farm field, McDonald’s works closely with growers and suppliers to develop new varieties, technologies, best practices and processes that ensure a safe, consistent supply of fresh produce.
Premium Roast Coffee: McDonald’s new coffee is a more robust and tasty, contemporary blend. Our new blend is an intense roast and consists of Colombian, Guatemalan, and Costa Rican beans. It still uses 100% Arabica beans, the highest classification of beans. Our blend targets both traditional and more adventurous coffee drinkers.
McDonald’s® Hamburgers: Our restaurant's use only 100 percent USDA
inspected beef, with no additives, fillers, flavor enhancers or extenders. Patties are seasoned at the grill with salt and pepper.
